Mohsin Babar stands as an internationally acclaimed professional dancer, revered for his exceptional expertise in Kathak, the illustrious classical dance form of South Asia. His artistry extends beyond Kathak, encompassing profound training in Sufi, contemporary, and various folk dance styles, showcasing his versatility and deep-rooted passion for dance.
As Pakistan’s foremost Kathakar, Mohsin’s journey began at the tender age of 11, under the mentorship of Ustad Hamid Hussain, a trailblazer in Pakistan’s Kathak scene. His pursuit of excellence led him to India, where he refined his craft under the legendary Ustaad Shado Maharaj and Ustaad Rajendra Gangani of the Jaipuri school of Kathak.

He specializes in Kathak, a South Asian classical form of dance. He has also been trained in the sufi, contemporary and folk styles of dance.
